Description:

Bring leftover assorted fabric pieces & scraps in variety of light, medium and dark. Students will be given exercises that will help you to create impressionistic naturescapes, several machine embroidery techniques of transparency and texture, various quilting lines and techniques and the use of painting on fabrics. You will enjoy the changing process of your scraps to impressionistic oil painting. The purpose of this class is to encourage students to explore and use texture and color more adventurously in art quilts. Students will go home with a medium size wall hanging of naturescapes.
